Wedding – Wayne & Hayley Kidd

I had the pleasure recently of photographing the wedding of Wayne and Hayley Kidd. The weather was slightly iffy but stayed dry (if a little cold for poor Hayley and the bridesmaids!) for the photos thankfully. The wedding – at lovely Binham Priory – and the reception – at The Feathers in Holt – were fantastic, and Wayne and Hayley themselves, and their families a joy to work with. I especially enjoyed the totally unexpected (to everyone!) family dance routine which took place during the bride and groom’s first dance, and included Wayne and Hayley’s three lovely children. Gift Voucher Shoot

During Christmas 2011, I had some special offer Gift Vouchers for sale that people could give as Christmas presents, and I’ve just done a shoot for one client who had a voucher bought for her by her daughter. So, what does a Keith Osborn Photography Gift Voucher get you? Well, in this case the voucher entitled the recipient to one hour’s photography at a location of their choosing, six high resolution images on a CD for them to print out as many times as they wish, and two professional prints that they could choose from their six images. And all for just £45!

Wedding – Tony & Ann Sims

It was a privilege to be asked to take a few photographs at the recent wedding of Tony & Ann Sims at Fakenham Parish Church. I had known Ann for a few years (from us both going to the Church) and had the pleasure of photographing her a couple of years ago so that she could have a unique Christmas present to give to Tony. So it was lovely to be able to complete the circle, so to speak, and photograph their wedding. Here are a few shots from the day:

I photographed the lovely wedding on Saturday of Wayne & Hayley Kidd at Binham Priory, and then at The Feathers in Holt. It was not the brightest of days but it did stay dry when we needed it to, and it was fantastic to be part of their day – thanks Wayne & Hayley!

I’ve decided, as part of my normal wedding workflow, to start putting a single taster image on my blog shortly after each wedding and then a selection of further images on once the bride and groom have received their photos. So to start us off, here’s a taster image from Wayne & Hayley’s wedding:

Paralympian Danny Nobbs

I had a great opportunity yesterday to photography Paralympian athlete Danny Nobbs – a Team GB shotput hopeful! He was supporting a Chewits Sports Course at East Harling Primary School, and their marketing agency, Havas-SE had asked me to cover the event. Danny was a real gent and a great inspiration to the kids who loved having their photos taken with him, and getting him to sign autographs. Here are a few pics from the day:

Fakenham Parish Church

Fakenham Sport Relief Mile

Had a really fun day at The Clipbush Park Mile yesterday – Fakenham’s very own Sport Relief Mile, held at Clipbush Park, the home of Fakenham Town FC.

Shooting boxes for ARCA Preservation

I really enjoy shooting these boxes used for conservation of precious documents in museums and art galleries, because they are such wonderful objects and so beautifully constructed. They are hand made by the very talented Bridget Mitchell at ARCA Preservation, and these, as you will see from the ‘NHM’ on the spine, are winging their way to London’s Natural History Museum to encase two rare books. I’ve been lucky enough to do six shoots for Bridget so far and it’s always a pleasure to see her latest work.

Shooting chocolate with Pixie Hall

Mmmmmm… a very tasty shoot last week photographing the delectable chocolates made by Pixie Hall. Both the subject matter and the client were lovely, and I have to say that being able to sample some of the wares after shooting them was just the cocoa on the truffle!
