The Clipbush Park Mile

We are very proud to be  working with Fakenham Town Football Club as part of Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile 2012 in “The Clipbush Park Mile“. After you’ve crossed the finish line, we will be on hand to take your photo with your medal. Copies can then be purchased via the website, and a 20% donation will be made to Sport Relief for each copy sold.

Sunday 25th March is the day for the diary, and the venue – Clipbush Park, home of Fakenham Town FC. ”The Clipbush Park Mile” will incorporate a nice circuit of the ground, starting and finishing on the main pitch. There are literally hundreds of Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile events taking place across the country on Sunday 25th March.  Whether you do 1, 3 or 6 miles – as a family team, with your mates or against the clock – you’ll have a fantastic time when you go the distance.  Secure a place at “The Clipbush Park Mile” now, by visiting www.sportrelief.com. And don’t forget to have your photo taken with your medal!

Fakenham Wedding Fair

Great two days at the Fakenham Wedding Fair last weekend. Gave away loads of publicity cards and met lots of lovely couples, took some bookings and hope for a few more as a result. Thank you to all the couples (and sometimes just the brides-to-be) that came by the stand – if there’s anything we can do for you, please do just get in touch. Part of the fun was also meeting all the other stallholders, from hair and make up artists to wedding cake bakers, discos, florists, chocolatiers, jewellers and wedding dress sellers – in fact too many to mention. A good time seemed to be had by all, and huge thank you to Fakenham Community Centre for organising it. Here is part of my stand:

Fakenham Wedding Fair This Weekend

Are you getting married? Well, Fakenham’s first wedding fair is fast approaching and we will of course be there offering our friendly, easygoing and affordable wedding photography service where you remain in control at all times! We will be displaying some of the best images from recent weddings, and we have a special offer available to any lovely couple that books a consultation during the fair. If that consultation results in a wedding booking, you will receive…. ooops, you have to wait and see! To be going on with, here’s one of the images we will be featuring on our stand. See you there!

New Wedding Postcard

The front and back of my new wedding postcard, hot off the press and ready for the Wedding Fair at Fakenham Community Centre in a couple of weeks time. Look out for my cards and if you are planning your wedding for this year or next, get down to the Community Centre in Fakenham on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February where you will be able to meet lots of lovely people (including yours truly!). Or if you would like to speak to me direct, please of course feel free to call me on 01328 856700 or email me via the website.

Head shot of Diana

So, it’s been quite busy here at the ranch recently – so much so in fact that I realise I haven’t blogged for a while. Well, to rectify that, I will be sharing today and over coming posts some of the stuff I’ve been up to…  First off, it’s a recent session to capture a relaxed head shot of Diana, the owner and all round nice person at Creake Abbey, the home of North Norfolk’s very own local award winning farmers’ market, fantastic shops and studios together with the ruins of an 13th century Augustinian abbey. A nice result, I think…

Family Shoot in the Studio

What you can do with a lovely family, a studio, some lights and a white background! James, Elaine and Josh came to the studio a week or so ago and had an hour or so’s photography and fifteen photos put on a CD at 7×5″ that they can print out as many times as they like as gifts for friends and family. Here’s a selection from the shoot. If you’d like something similar, please do give me a call!

Fakenham Xmas Lights Switch On

Thanks to Kick Start Fakenham for asking me to take some photographs at the Christmas Lights Switch On on Saturday 26 November. It was a really good afternoon with a visit from Santa, some great music, the lights being switched on, and fireworks. Here’s a selection from the day just to get you in the spirit!

Author portrait

Had a visit from North Norfolk author Ken Lake to the studio today for a portrait to be used on his book jackets and his website. It was my first author portrait and I’m very pleased with how it turned out…

Late Autumn Family Shoot

Had the opportunity to do a nice relaxed family shoot on one of Autumn’s loveliest sunny days in early October. Three generations of one family (happily named Osborn, but no relation to yours truly) together in the sun for some memorable  photos. They were lovely people to work with and I’m very pleased with the results – see what you think…

School Art Day

Debbie and I went to Walsingham Community Primary School a little while ago to do an Art Day with the children – concentrating on printing with found objects. I’m lucky to be going back this afternoon to see their Art Exhibition, some of which I think has been inspired by the Art Day so, to celebrate, here are a few photos I had the opportunity to take on the day (shared with the permission of the School):
